In 1962, second generation Japanese-Bolivian Freddy Maemura Hurtado travels to Cuba to study medicine, where he meets Che Guevara. When he learns that Civil War has erupted in his home country, he returns to fight with Che’s army, and given the name of Ernesto Medico.
