Made after the essay “On the Marionette Theater” by Heinrich von Kleist, the film focuses on Kleist himself, torn-up, engulfed in the search for knowledge, for identity and trapped in his loneliness and self-centeredness, bouncing all over walls, grimaces, cruelty, suffering.
