Our take
Drawing the romcom in vibrant new colors, Céline Devaux switches well-worn battles of the sexes for an animated tussle between rival world views. As a relatable cynic and an eccentric optimist, Blanche Gardin and Laurent Lafitte fizz with perfect chemistry in this Cannes-selected, delightful debut.
