Feature film is a free adaptation of Joost Zwagerman’s novel. Intrigued by the theme ‘falsehood’, Van Gogh tells the story of a student, Simon, who becomes obsessed with the neurotic prostitute Lizzy, and discovers that she is oppressed by characters from the underworld.
