Iiris is an eight-year-old girl who desperately seeks her mother’s attention. Her single mother Saara, a supermarket cashier struggling to make ends meet, has other worries; she is pregnant by a man she just met, Mikko. Also, Saara’s close sister Eeva has cancer.
