Our take
Prior to A Separation, Asghar Farhadi crafted this riveting exploration of the fissures of marriage, co-written with Mani Haghighi (Men at Work). Set against the backdrop of the Persian New Year, Fireworks Wednesday lights the ignition, traces the emotional flares, and watches as sparks fly.
