Scared by a horde of eager wives, Lancelot, a baronet, is forced to marry by a very sick uncle. He accepts to bring a mechanical doll to the altar, an exact double of Ossi, daughter of Hilarius, author of automata and robots. The true Ossi takes its place, triggering funny chain misunderstandings.
