“Föhn” is a remake of the mountain film classic “Die weiße Hölle vom Piz Palü” (“The White Hell of Pitz Palu”, 1929): An elderly physician cannot get over the loss of his wife who died in an avalanche during the ascent of the dangerous mountain several years ago.
