Our take
It’s a dog eat dog world out there. Or should that be fish? Jean Painlevé’s Freshwater Assassins looks at the voracious underwater world of a freshwater pond, as various forms of aquatic life fight it out. Tactics of camouflage, artifice, and resourcefulness come to the fore as the battle rages on.
