On a Paris bridge at night, a young woman with misty eyes leans over the icy waters of the Seine, strongly tempted to put an end to her misery. Suddenly from behind, out of nowhere, comes a stranger. It is Gabor, a once brilliant but now fading performer, in need of a partner.
