Zeke, a sharecropper, falls for Chick, a beautiful vamp dancer from the city, but she’s only setting him up to lose his money in a craps game. Later Zeke turns preacher as Brother Zekiel and draws faithful crowds in large numbers, even Chick wants to be saved and can still cast a spell over Zekiel.
