Our take

Pen-ek Ratanaruang is one of Thailand’s great directors, with an oeuvre of very special films to his name, such as festival hits Last Life in the Universe and Nymph. His 2011 noir takes his ingenuity to new heights, a thriller that literally rethinks the visual possibilities of genre cinema!
