Our take

Circling around a mystery worthy of Twin Peaks, the swooning seventeen minutes of this beautiful, beguiling film are a tribute to a cult musician and the romance of not-knowing. Mixing gossamer sounds with sublime imagery, filmmaker Kurt Walker clearly has an ear for beauty, and an eye for it too.
