Our take

The director of Oldboy and The Handmaiden does a romantic comedy! And it’s every bit as out-there as we dared hope. Whimsically demented yet surprisingly empathetic, Park Chan-wook’s electrically-charged tale of love in a mental hospital is a romantic confection mixing the light and the dark.
