Our take
Following celebrated biopics of Hannah Arendt and Rosa Luxemburg, Margarethe von Trotta turns to Ingeborg Bachmann, another formidable thinker of the twentieth century. In a deeply felt film that embraces her heart as much as her mind, Vicky Krieps plays the writer with exquisite vulnerability.
