Irene, the daughter of a Greek father with Istanbul roots, falls in love with famous Turkish journalist Ali in Paris. When Ali disappears suddenly, Irene embarks on a Kafkaesque journey in Istanbul, searching for both her lover and traces of the roots of her family.
