Adolf Berg, an army musician, bumps into a theatre manager’s daughter Gertrud, mistaken for someone else he is invited to dinner. When he understands that Gertrud’s father is looking for a new operetta, he starts bragging about his trumpeting and that he might have a good show to offer.
