Tok Chai rears a ‘Hantu Raya’ spirit that provides him an easy life in return. When Tok Chai passes on, he leaves behind his beloved Hantu Raya. Since his burial means the end of him, the Hantu Raya tries to stop the villagers, specially Tok Imam and his followers, from completing Chai’s funeral.
