Based on the novel co-written by Adib Zaini and director Woo Ming Jin, KL Zombi is a highly stylised local adaptation of the zombie genre that captures many of the cultural norms of modern Malaysian lifestyles. The zombie element is definitely ghastly while the humour aspect plays well too.
