Our take

John Malkovich stars in this dreamy time-traveling biopic of one of the world’s most recognized and admired painters. Passion and paranoia blend in this inspired reverie of love, lust, memory and artistic inspiration. From acclaimed director Raul Ruiz, a modern master of the unusual!
