La malcasada, a silent film directed in 1926 by journalist Francisco Gómez Hidalgo and described as “the most unusual film in Spanish cinema in all its history.” Is based on the wedding and separation of the Mexican bullfighter Rodolfo Gaona and the Spanish actress Carmen Ruiz Moragas.
