Gayathri Devi’s son and his Japanese wife die in Tokyo, leaving behind their young son, Chi Ku. Gayathri Devi sends her younger son, Ashok, to Japan to bring back Chi Ku, but the child refuses to go. Escaping his uncle, Chi Ku meets a fellow runaway, a young lady named Asha.
