Our take
Mel Gibson and DeMille adapted the Bible into drama, but it looked nothing like this. Marvel at the French artist-filmmaker’s stunning transformation of the screen into a multi-panel moving image interpretation of the Passion. A moving painting? Video art? Either way, it’s meant to be watched big!
