Two sisters have very different characters: Maria is every parent’s dream – the good daughter whose path in life is straight and smooth – but her sister Mariana is the opposite, wild and rebellious.

This is the film that elevated Edika Yusof, Erra Fazira, and Ziana Zain as Malaysian teenage idols in the 1990s. Maria Mariana is also remembered (and beloved!) by fans for the epic songs sung by Ziana Zain such as “Korban Cinta” and “Sangkar Cinta.”
