Our take

This tender and funny story of middle-aged love finds its titular protagonists deeply embedded in their lively working-class community. Between maternal histrionics, macho posturing, and neighborly gossip, Marseille-born director Robert Guédiguian detects true emotion, and a kind of wisdom too.
