A lonely middle-aged widower, Mr. Shome is a proudly uncompromising railway officer. One day, however, he decides to break with his routine and goes on a hunting trip to the countryside. As he becomes enchanted by the world he encounters, he meets a young woman who transforms his outlook on life.
