Our take
Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! , the landmark blockbuster which transformed the cultural landscape of Indian cinema, was a remake of this rustic drama. An elegantly shot tale of young lovers torn by family ties that delightfully brings rich, authentic textures and a whiff of soil to the screen.
