Our take

Peter Greenaway, the trouble-making bard of haute perversity best known for The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, showed no signs of slowing down with this award-winning, extravagant look at a famed painter using his art to take a stand. Starring Martin Freeman.
