The story lures us into the interior world of protagonist Akim (Lotfi Abdeli), his suffering and alienation. Akim is a young scuba diver who lives together with his older, more austere, brother Issa (Féthi Heddaoui) in an isolated lighthouse on the Tunisian coastline.
