Our take
Old wounds resurface with the tide in Büşra Bilginer’s assured debut, which traces the ebb and flow of sisterhood with grace. Letting saltwater and time do the work of reconciliation, On the Shore frames the rhythmic returns of grief and memory with the serene beauty of the Turkish Riviera.
