Dmitry and Zhenya are Russians living in New York on expired visas, with their seven-month-old daughter, Dasha. Dasha was born in the U.S. and is a citizen. One night, when the baby has an accident, Zhenya wants to take her to the hospital, but Dmitry is reluctant, fearing they’ll be separated.
