Our take

Legendary Hollywood actor-turned-auteur Clint Eastwood kicked off his directing career with this taut psychological thriller about obsessive female fandom. Eastwood also stars in this suspense-filled debut, which doubles as a stylistic homage to his mentor Don Siegel—watch out for Siegel’s cameo!
