With two hundred dollars in his pocket, artist Woody van Amen left Rotterdam in 1961 by cargo ship to live in New York. There he met artists like Andy Warhol and jazz poet Ted Joans. His 8mm archive, filmed in New York, is the starting point of this short documentary.
