Rebu documents, from a first-person perspective, Mayara Santana’s experiences as a lesbian woman. Looking into her last three relationships and through interviews with her father, she tries to explore the most diverse performances of masculinity.

Made as an Instagram web series, this personal documentary examines the director’s own life as a young Black dyke through many mediums, from YouTube videos to family pictures. Relationships with her Father and her lovers form the basis for a humorous reflection on romance and gender performance.
