Our take
Power dynamics seesaw and daring playground games become deadly serious in Ariane Labed’s startlingly unique first feature as director. Offering up a dark, distinctive vision of adolescence and girlhood, this unpredictable film sees the strangeness of the sibling bond for its wild, feral intensity.
