In 1939, jazz club owner Thomas Hinkman conducts an ill-advised affair with club singer Butterfly. Sucked into a sordid world, he plans an escape from his wife and lover. 60 years later, Hinkman’s descendant Tom, his girlfriend, and their flatmate uncover Hinkman’s property – along with a dead body.
