All is not well on Captain Andy Hawks’ floating night club, the Cotton Blossom. Hawks’ overbearing wife, Parthy, has just fired main attraction Julie Dozier out of fear that she is corrupting their daughter, Magnolia.
A mostly silent film, with some songs from the musical as a last-minute addition.
