Our take

The jangling chime of bridal bangles is soon colored by incandescent rage in Karan Kandhari’s macabre comedy of marital hunger and metamorphosis, shot on lush 35mm. Starring Radhika Apte as a free-spirited wife, this deliriously surreal vision of Mumbai conjures bloody surprises between the sheets.
