In 1980, A Sinhala boy, Sandaras Edirisinghe, and a Tamil girl, Vidya, fall in love on their way to the church where the girl, possessed by the Kalu Kumaraya/Gharasarpa, a Sri Lankan folklore version of Incubus can be healed.
