The new idealistic service observer, Helmi Heino (Ansa Ikonen), is trying to improve the conditions of “The Sands of Sin,” however, the problems are especially caused by Jukka Kyrö (Tauno Palo), the leader of the offenders. This is a social melodrama about people and life in a poor neighborhood.
