Speedy loses his job as a soda-jerk, goes to Coney Island with his girl, then becomes a cabby and drives Babe Ruth to a game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (run by his girl’s grandfather) out of business, Speedy organizes the neighborhood old-timers to stop the scheme.
