Olivier Assayas confines his interest in memory to the clement spring of the 2020 pandemic in this deceptive film: profound, light though it first might seem. Wildflowers bloom as the director’s cast bring bourgeois neurotics and their girlfriends to life in his actual (!) Île-de-France family home.
