Our take
Scorsese’s fascination with obsessive personalities and old Hollywood find their match in his sprawling biopic of famed flyboy, millionaire, movie producer and recluse Howard Hughes. It snagged five Oscars, including for its retro Technicolor camerawork and Cate Blanchett as Katharine Hepburn.
