Family man and Police Chief Jim Fitzpatrick is fighting gangster Sam Belmonte. Jim asks his dishonest younger brother Ed to keep an eye on Daisy who was connected with Belmonte, but Ed allows himself to be seduced by Daisy and then needs money to continue the relationship.
