Our take

Taking a parallax view on late 20th-century history, this short whirs with sci-fi theories of modernity. Maximizing the multimedia potential of the digital screen, Raqs Media Collective layer animated, illustrated, and pixellated images to make a time-traveling video worthy of Chris Marker.
