Our take
Armando Ianucci, the brilliant comic mind behind The Thick of It, turns to the tyranny of Stalinism for this profoundly funny, absurdist romp. With its all-star cast and a masterful control of tone, The Death of Stalin is a breakneck farce and the only rightful heir to Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove.
