Tinged with carnal desire, unrequited love is a perilous thing in this noirish drama from the prolific Matteo Garrone, director of the Oscar®-nominated Io Capitano. Drawing a macabre link between taxidermy and the underworld of drug trafficking, The Embalmer shows that flesh is the devil indeed.
