Suppose the poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, who was killed by Franco’s fascists in 1936, survived but without any memory of who he was. This film tells how things might have been, picking up Lorca’s story in 1980 when an old man encounters the writer as a beggar on the streets of Granada.
