Julião of Nakamura, a priest of Society of Jesus, was the first of four young ambassadors sent to Rome by the Jesuits in 1538, as proof that Japan had converted to Christianity. 50 years after that historic event, his faith & beliefs are challenged by the Shogun who dare him to abandon his religion.
