Our take
Ferit Karahan’s sharp debut feature is a thought-provoking exploration of the racial tensions between Turkish and Kurdish people in modern-day Turkey. The Fall from Heaven makes no apologies for its outspoken message while laying bare the causes of systemic racism with emotional rigor.
